Two motorcyclists wounded in Sumbal mishap | KNO

Bandipora, June 27(KNO) : Two persons sustained serious injuries after a speeding four-wheeler hit their bike in Sumbal area of north Kashmir Bandipora district on Thursday. Official sources told KNO that two persons suffered critical wounds after a speedy four wheeler vehicle bearing registration number JK01N-8859 hit their bike at Wangipora Sumbal area of Bandipora while the driver of the vehicle escaped from the spot. The injured were taken to Sub-District Hospital Sumbal from where the doctors referred them to SK Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Srinagar for advanced treatment. The injured have been identified as Junaid Ahmad Malik, son of Habibullah Malik of Sumbal and Wahid Ahmad Bhat, son of Fayaz Ahmad Bhat of Safapora. Police have registered a case and initiated investigation into the accident. (KNO)
